On the Workbench: Bamboo Wading Staff

We are currently working on a bamboo wading staff. It is not split-bamboo but is instead made from a complete bamboo culm. And rather than Tonkin bamboo, we are making these of Calcutta bamboo from India. You'll have to choice of a rubber-like elastomer cork or black grip. The leash is 22" long of 3/16" shock cord and can be attached to your person with a small aluminum carabiner. The tip has a stainless steel insert or you can use the included rubber tip. They'll come in two lengths, 48" and 54".
